QRS is a wholly Irish owned quarry and recycling Services Company. The businesses roots extend back over two and a half decades where its founder Derek Maher forged his experience and knowledge through exposure to the largest construction material companies in the country.
Derek’s unique expertise dealing with complex tasks which included Plant design, erecting through to commissioning and repairs, lent itself to bravely take the long journey into building a company that could offer the kind of support and services that Derek seen as the future to support Irish industry leaders.
QRS continues to grow and is now supported by an expanding
professional team of fitters, technical operators, administration and
Health & Safety.
We at QRS believe that we offer a second to none service. Our
professional team can be effectively deployed and schedule to support both planned and reactive maintenance events. With a fleet of up to date fully self-sufficient maintenance vehicle allows us to readily respond to customer demand.
QRS have secured a number of strategic spare part suppliers to ensure even through this challenging supply chain time we can offer our customers a superior, cost effective solution. We at QRS have continually reinvested into our people, machinery and technical improvements. At our purpose built engineering works we have invested in two of the latest plasma cutters, Welders, hoists, folders and benders. We have ensured we developed a full time engineering works supervisor who has extensive experience within heavy industry.
All engineering projects are resourced with an onsite spare parts, store which include off the shelf spare, part as well as bespoke item for specific customer projects. Any engineering is supported through AutoCAD design and a quality management system. This overall holistic investment strategy allows us to design and manufacture bespoke parts and equipment from wear plates through to entire plant fabrication.
We see our relationships with current and future customers as our primary focus. The business has expanded and thrived through these relationships. Each relationship we forge has brought continued learning to the business. We see these requirements as a way to continually learn and adapt our philosophy to strive to deliver real solutions.
